Pudong Art Museum Art Passage Door and Hydraulic Door

  The Pudong Art Museum is located in the core area of Xiaolujiazui Binjiang. It adjoins the Shanghai International Convention Center to the north, extends to the bank of the Huangpu River to the west, and connects to the Oriental Pearl Tower via the Garden Square to the east. The main building covers an area of 13,000 square meters, with a total construction area of nearly 40,000 square meters.   The Pudong Art Museumis invested in, constructed and operated by the Lujiazui Group, and designed by Jean Nouvel, a renowned French architect and Pritzker Prize winner. As a brand-new state-owned public art museum, the Pudong Art Museum project is a significant measure to build the "Shanghai Culture" brand, dedicated to becoming a new landmark of international cultural venues in Shanghai, an important platform for international cultural and artistic exchanges, and one of the most beloved art museums by audiences.

Ⅱ. Work Content

  Our company is responsible for the design, production and construction of the art passage doors and hydraulic doors of the Pudong Museum of Art. Among them, the largest door is the art passage door on the third floor of the Pudong Fine Arts Museum, which is divided into outward-opening and inward-opening types.

  The dimensions of the exterior door are 10 meters in height and 4 meters in width. Each door weighs 2000 kilograms and the total weight is 4000 kilograms. The size of the inner door is 9.8 meters in height and 3 meters in width. Each door weighs 1,500 kilograms and the total weight is 3,000 kilograms. The automatic opening of ultra-high and ultra-heavy door panels requires special consideration in design and selection to meet functional requirements. Our company's ingenious mechanical rotation design enables such an extremely tall and heavy door leaf to be easily pushed by hand.

ⅱ. Hydraulic upward-flipping door

  The single hydraulic upward-flipping door weighs 6,500 kilograms. It is driven by a hydraulic cylinder, which provides power support for the opening and closing of the door leaf, enabling the door leaf to open and flip up 90 degrees.

- The door ladder weighs as much as 5 tons.

- The opening and closing mode is upward-flipping opening, and the driving mode is hydraulic push rod type.
