Dynamic sculpture of the welcome tower in Yazhou Bay Sanbougainvillea Park, Sanya

The welcome tower of Sanya bougainvillea Park is located in the center of bougainvillea Park, which is also the commanding point of the whole project. The modeling of the tower is a bouquet of flowers, welcoming guests from all over the world. The dynamic sculpture symbolizes the two industrial parks: South Science and Technology City and Deep-sea Science and Technology City, growing and blooming in Yazhou Bay, demonstrating the rapid rise of an emerging science and technology city.
The dynamic sculpture on the top of the guest tower is designed and delivered by AGAPE. It is performed by mechanically lifting and rotating the petals on the device, supplemented with light show . This dynamic sculpture contains 8 movable stainless steel petals and 3 stainless steel flower buds on the top. The maximum petal area is 200 ㎡ and weighs 45 tons. The mechanical sculpture device has two levels of lifting and two stages of rotation, with 8 movable petals installed on the first and second stages of rotation to open and close. The primary lift height is 7 m and the secondary lift height is 3 m; the primary and secondary rotations are both 0-350°; the petal opening angle is 0-70°. The equipment includes hydraulic drive device, slide block and track system, mechanical rotary system, safety pin system and electrical control system.
